We have been hearing of some issues with the handles not threading all the way through the tapped hole on the side of the shovelhead. The tapped hole on the shovelhead bowl was not required to be completely thru the side wall for the rubber handle to function properly. However, we have isolated this issue to some of the earlier batches of shovelheads as this has not been the case for a few years.
For anyone experiencing problems with the Ed's TNT handle not tightening down this tap will fix the issue. This is a very easy fix.
Further, If you are not inclined to fix this yourself, you are welcome to send your bowl and handle to the shop and we will be happy to do it for you.

Besides a few threads sticking out. I am not having any issues with Eds handles that I can’t live with. Wish you guys would have Ed make some matching Cocobolo enail handles to go with the bowl handles. Keep up the awesome work CH.👍
