What is a SiC Dish?
A SiC dish, also known as a silicon carbide dish, is a must-have accessory for your dab rig setup. Made of silicon carbide, a durable and heat-resistant ceramic material with excellent thermal conductivity. Most importantly, SiC dishes retain heat evenly, therefore resulting in efficient vaporization and robust flavor profiles.
What is a Quartz Dish?
Quartz dishes for dabs are another popular accessory among dabbing enthusiasts. Quartz glass is used to create a donut-shaped attachment called a quartz dish, which vaporizes cannabis concentrates by heating them. This method ensures consistent temperature control and efficient vaporization. Once heated, place a small amount of cannabis concentrate into the dish using a dab tool. The quartz dish heats up the concentrate and turns it into vapor, which passes through the dab rig's water filtration system and delivers a tasty flavor when inhaled.
Do I need a carb cap?
To enhance the flavor and vapor quality of your dabbing experience, use a carb cap. This small, dome-shaped accessory is placed over the top of the heated nail or banger after the concentrate has been applied, regulating the airflow and pressure inside the dab rig for a more controlled and efficient vaporization process.
How does an enail work?
An enail heats a coil wrapped around your banger or dish using an electronic PID controller, which holds a set temperature far more precisely than a butane torch. You set your target temperature on the controller, wait for it to stabilize, then dab as usual — with consistent heat every time instead of re-torching between hits.
