Chilled Vapor Path Device - StoneCold

This idea gained momentum when we learned about the Peltier Semi Conductor

Rev v0.1 - June 4th, 2025 - Day 1

Ordered some Thermoelectric Peltier Refrigeration Cooling System Modules so we could start experimenting.

Starting measuring deltas and made a prototype of the Cold Sink out of some billet and worked with an initial design to test out the theory. As you can see, our initial testing brought the block down to 54F.

These are the parts we used for this first version

The Peltier Cooling Modules (TEC1-12706) - These are the 6v version. Come to find out there are several unit that handle different voltages.

Terminal Strip - We used these to make our initial connections for proving out theory

12v Power Supply Sockets

12v Power Switch

Rev v0.2 - Day 2 - June 14th. 2025

Ordered some new Peltier Modules, this time we are trying the 10v version. We need to push these as far as we can to achieve lower temps. Also, designed a 3d printed housing. STL files available below.

With each version , we will be modifying the "vapor plate" to create more efficient paths and mass.
