Massive upgrade over the flimsy factory screens

I purchased a pax 3 a short while back and have been finding ways to make the user experience better. This screen is my latest addition. I could not stand the factory screens, they were flimsy and hard to install. Sometimes they would fly out of the pax oven since they were held in by tension. This screen resolves all of the problems I had with the factory option and shines in comparison. I'd also highly recommend purchasing a brick builder on etsy, it makes a world of a difference in packing the oven more evenly.

A perfect PAXessory!

Sorry for the cringe title, but here's the nitty gritty: this little thing is machined to perfection and does exactly what it's designed to do. Another reviewer said that PAX should adopt this design as stock for their next iteration, and I have to agree. That review is what made me buy this thing in the first place, and I'm glad I did. The increased airflow is great, but I like a bit of resistance, so I opted to keep the standard lid and added the standalone pusher also sold here. Together they enhance the efficiency of the PAX's heating like you wouldn't believe. When I dumped the ABV, I was shocked with how evenly the load had vaporized. That brings me to the second thing I love about it, the loose fit. Some people may find this a bit annoying, but if you're the type of person who likes to lightly brush the oven after every session, this makes quick cleanup much easier. No more having to stick the wire brush or a poker to get the screen to pop out. Same if you use the concentrate insert often. (Regarding complaints about material slipping through: this shouldn't really happen if you pack your PAX tight enough.) All in all, I'm quite thrilled with this screen, and I'll be buying a backup or two in the near future.

Horrible screen that doesn't filter

Great if you want your Pax's mouthpiece and tube to be filled with herb after every session. I get that it's supposed to be "loose" by design, but it's so lose that you just end up with weed in your mouthpiece/mouth until the oven to mouthpiece to tube gets clogged and you have to clean it out. Would give it 0 stars if I could, the cheap PAX default screens are worlds better.

Hi there, could it be possible that you are not putting enough material in the oven? In its stock form, to get good results, you are supposed to fill the oven completely, if you fill it, the screen will have nowhere to go and hence keep your material at bay.
