The final product is pretty good and functionally is the same as one of the ZenLeafs sold without the controller once completed. The clamp allows you to adjust the coil position in any way that you might require with the two positioning screws. You can move the coil side to side, adjust coil height and level. The shield and clamp are both super secure and without wobble once completed. I had a bit of trouble getting the brass screws in perfectly straight as they require a 3/8" drill bit that I found a little difficult to work with. So the clamp is not quite straight up and down, but that is just esthetic. I'm not the best DIY guy. The base is from Etsy and it was under $10. Be sure you have a controller with a 25mm coil that are compatible as this can be tricky. From a cost perspective, this worked for me because I only had to buy a coil, the clamp and base so it made sense. I'm having fun with it of course.
