Why the B2 Head Was Discontinued
The B2 head was discontinued because it no longer favored its original dual-purpose design.
The B2 was originally designed to vape both flower and concentrates at similar temperature ranges, making it effective for what many users referred to as “double deckers.” At the time, this balance worked well.
However, the introduction of ball vapes changed that equation. The use of rubies significantly reduced the temperatures required to vaporize flower, creating a much larger temperature delta between flower and concentrates. This made true dual-purpose use increasingly impractical.
In addition, running concentrates through ruby-filled heads introduced major cleaning and maintenance challenges, further limiting long-term usability.
As a result, we shifted toward:

Devices like the MOAB and Airstream for users seeking more multi-purpose flexibility
This transition allowed each platform to excel at its intended use without compromise.

The B2 Baller Head is the replacement for our beloved Vrod head designed for the flowerpot ecosystem.
ABOUT THE "B" SCREEN DIFFUSER
We started with the legendary Vrod head and machined away the inside to accommodate 58 Quartz 4 mm spheres. This design more than doubles the heater's surface area.
Instead of the straight air channels found in the Vrod Diffuser, the balls create an obstructed air path forcing the air around the balls resulting in better efficiency.
You are able to customize your experience by using different material balls that are widely available. (Ruby, Sapphire, Quartz, SiC)
Using different size, shape, and material balls will change the flavor and performance of the head.
