A perfect PAXessory!

Sorry for the cringe title, but here's the nitty gritty: this little thing is machined to perfection and does exactly what it's designed to do. Another reviewer said that PAX should adopt this design as stock for their next iteration, and I have to agree. That review is what made me buy this thing in the first place, and I'm glad I did. The increased airflow is great, but I like a bit of resistance, so I opted to keep the standard lid and added the standalone pusher also sold here. Together they enhance the efficiency of the PAX's heating like you wouldn't believe. When I dumped the ABV, I was shocked with how evenly the load had vaporized. That brings me to the second thing I love about it, the loose fit. Some people may find this a bit annoying, but if you're the type of person who likes to lightly brush the oven after every session, this makes quick cleanup much easier. No more having to stick the wire brush or a poker to get the screen to pop out. Same if you use the concentrate insert often. (Regarding complaints about material slipping through: this shouldn't really happen if you pack your PAX tight enough.) All in all, I'm quite thrilled with this screen, and I'll be buying a backup or two in the near future.

Horrible screen that doesn't filter

Great if you want your Pax's mouthpiece and tube to be filled with herb after every session. I get that it's supposed to be "loose" by design, but it's so lose that you just end up with weed in your mouthpiece/mouth until the oven to mouthpiece to tube gets clogged and you have to clean it out. Would give it 0 stars if I could, the cheap PAX default screens are worlds better.

Hi there, could it be possible that you are not putting enough material in the oven? In its stock form, to get good results, you are supposed to fill the oven completely, if you fill it, the screen will have nowhere to go and hence keep your material at bay. If you need further assistance please doo not hesitate to contact us.

Worth buying over fake cheaper versions

I used to think 3d screens were pointless when I was buying them off Amazon and eBay. But this official one makes a world of a difference. Just be careful when dumping your abv. You might want to buy at least 2 in case you lose one. I also recommend using this with a half pack lid for best performance

Good, cheap & easy mod for Pax 2 & 3

I grabbed one of these with my Pax 3 when I ordered it. It does indeed increase air flow just enough to make using the Pax more pleasant. Don’t get this thinking that you’ll be able to rip a long, hard pull through the vape, though. They might sound corny, but the instructions to “sip gently” from the Pax are still applicable, even with the increased air flow. And do pack it tightly (firm pressure with your tamper, but not so much that you have to death grip the Pax to keep it from being pushed out of your hand.) If you do those things, the Pax will work great with this screen. The channels that allow for the increased air flow also mean they’ll hold onto gunk better than the stock screen, but both drop into isopropyl alcohol for cleaning just fine (and the Pax is definitely a vape you need to clean regularly to keep working well). The only downside for this screen has been that you need to remember to not just dump the spent oven contents into the bin - because the screen will come out with it! But that’s by design - you can’t fit this thicker metal in like you do the stock screen (it’d be wedged in way too tight). If you’re using a Pax regularly and have found the air flow a bit restrictive, even if you’re sipping gently, this would be a good investment. And if you find that bud dust/residue are a big issue in the oven/mouthpiece sides, I suggest tamping the contents in the oven just a bit more firmly. Once I did this, the dust was minimal and I
could use more often before I had to clean again.

Nice simple expensive cut of metal

It does a better job than the stock screen and drastically better than coming up with my own home brew system. I would say a definite buy for anyone looking to enhance their PAX use and even save on material
