Must Have!

This is great makes my B1 sit in the stand nice and secure. If you have any pets this is a must have the additional weight makes it very unlikely to tip over as well as protecting from any burns.

Essential gear

The hangar heat shield (+ adapter) is, imho, essential equipment for the Flowerpot user. I paired mine with the 5" stand to better cat-proof my home: the 3" stand simply can't take much of a tug, but the 5" is solid. Anyway, back to the hangar heat shield. Are you the lucky one who hasn't burned themself on their Flowerpot? Yet. It's coming, no matter how careful you may be. Unless you already have the hangar heat shield, you just can't avoid accidentally touching it. One downside: the remaining thread on the heat post doesn't get much of a bite in the base. You may be tempted to twist the hangar heat shield to tighten the heat post. That will work, but you'll also likely lock the hangar to the adapter plate, which will be super difficult to separate. So, you've been warned and this hangar heat shield is recommended.
